Founded in 1957 by Jim Kline, Kline Sign & Crane LLC is a family company that now spans three generations and two independent locations. It began as Kline’s Neon Shop, when Jim cut down some cottonwood trees, milled his own lumber and built a small but functional, 20-foot by 50-foot dirt-floor neon shop in Woodward, Oklahoma. In 1965, he purchased his first crane, a manual 55-footer, and eight years later he upgraded to a full-power, 75-foot crane. Jim continued expanding and soon had multiple cranes and sign trucks, He continued running Kline Sign & Crane, manufacturing neon ,building and installing signs until he passed in 2015. Carrying on the family legacy Jim’s grandsons now own and operate Kline Sign & Crane.
